Basic computer proficiency courses are designed for individuals who have limited experience with technology. Participants will learn fundamental skills such as navigating the web, and using basic programs.
Traditional teaching methods don’t always work with Generation Alpha students.
These digital natives have grown up fully immersed in technology in a way no previous generation has experienced. Their learning styles, motivations, and needs are unique.
This course takes an innovative, well-rounded approach to help teachers meet Gen Alpha learners where they are. While incorporating technology is certainly part of the equation, the course goes far beyond just adding digital tools.
A major focus is on promoting universal design for learning (UDL) principles.
Teachers will learn strategies for creating truly inclusive learning environments that provide multiple means of representation, expression, and engagement.
The goal is to ensure all students feel seen, heard, and able to participate regardless of backgrounds or abilities fully.
The course also emphasizes creating a more efficient, equitable, and engaging learning environment for all students, aiming to nurture a new mindset in Gen Alpha students.
Lessons will focus on creative problem-solving skills they’ll need for future economic and societal shifts like the circular economy model.
Teachers will get strategies for building resilience and adaptability, preparing students for potential changes that could impact their quality of life.
Another key piece is social media literacy. With Gen Alpha’s lives so digitally connected from an early age, the course will share techniques for responsibly promoting digital citizenship while analyzing positive media trends.
Teachers will get tools for channeling their students’ productive ways.
The course takes a holistic approach and aims to ignite curiosity, stimulate intuition, and foster constructivist learning experiences.
The goal is to create future-forward classrooms where Gen Alpha students feel comfortable expressing ideas, exploring new concepts, and learning through trial and error in a supportive environment.
By the end of this course, teachers will be confident in designing multi-modal lessons that provide choice and flexibility in how students consume content and demonstrate their knowledge.

Day 1 – Course introduction
- Introduction to the course, the school, and the external week activities;
- Icebreaker activities;
- Exploring Generation Alpha culture and subculture
Day 2 – Universal design for learning
- The UDL principles;
- Develop personalized experience.
Day 3 – Future trends
- Kidpreneur – Entrepreneurial kids;
- New Communities, economies, and values for a greener future.
Day 4 – Digital and technological literacies
- Positive social media trends;
- Great approaches for the tech generation.
Day 5 – Action plan
- Tailor feedback to the individual’s needs.
Day 6 – Course closure and cultural activities
- Course evaluation: round-up of acquired competencies, feedback, and discussion;
- Awarding of the course Certificate of Attendance;
- Excursion and other external cultural activities.
